The Loss of 8th Grade Girls Basketball A Team

By: Mikayla K. Lacey B.Hunter.G and Gianna H.

When this game started, it was fought through thick and thin. This battle between Kitty Hawk and our lady canes was very difficult. Our hurricanes fought long and hard, but in the end Kitty Hawk came out on top.  Losing 52-32 the players were left devastated.

We wanted to know how everyone felt about this devastating loss. When we questioned Brandy C., questioning if she had fun, “Yes, yes I did”.  We asked player Taylor D. if she hid her disappointment or not, she replied “I showed it a lot”.

Maybe at the next game the 8th grade girls can come back strong from this tragic loss. When we asked Coach Robinson how he felt about the lose and he said, “We didn’t get the win, but we have things that we can improve on.”
