In a big middle school like Heritage there are a lot of classes and extracurricular activities. For example there’s Athletics, Theater Arts, Spanish and there’s also Robotics UIL, and more.

The stuff you choose in middle school can really affect the way you learn. Every year as the new sixth grade class entered they were able to take different courses which led them down different paths. So through the year people make new friends and go through different experiences.

One of the many kids that’s trying something new as a seventh grader, Tyler L. says that football and being B team QB is fun and hard working. Tyler has never been on a team before so this is a great experience for him. He also says that being on his first football team makes him want to work harder and do the best for his team.  The team’s next game is this upcoming Saturday.

So… next year when you’re choosing classes and which extracurricular activities to participate in,  it’s best to choose the ones that make you happy but you can still get you education and maybe you could try something new.
