Shooting guard Steph Curry scored 51 points on a stellar shooting performance in which he made 11 out of 16 3-pointers as the Golden State Warriors pulled away from the Washington wizards 144-122 in Wednesday’s match-up at Oracle Arena.

Known for being a great shooter, Curry lived up to it and became one of the top five three-point shooters of all time with last night’s performance. After knocking down his tenth three pointer, Curry shrugged his shoulders to the Warriors sideline an expression made famous by Michael Jordan in the 1992 NBA Finals.

It’s not every night that you start off as hot as he did, dropping 31 points in the first 20 minutes resulting in a total of 50 after only 3 quarters of play. Coach Kerr  praised Curry after his incredible performance by stating that he thinks Curry is in exceptional shape and currently playing at the peak of his career.

Last night’s performance brings the Warriors to 4 and 1 with an upcoming matchup against the New York Knicks scheduled for Friday,October 26th 2018 . The Knicks who are currently struggling with a record of 1 and 4 will be heavy underdogs and hoping to secure their second win of the season.
